Painkillers in my pocket. Every single day.
"For ten years I never left home without painkillers. Migraines were simply part of my life — I thought they always would be."
Our founder tried everything. Doctors, medication, routines. The headaches stayed. What nobody had looked at was the one thing surrounding him every hour of every day: his light.
What if the problem was above my head?
After a decade of pain, he stumbled into the science of light — how glare, flicker, and harsh cold sources are documented triggers for headaches, eye strain and stress, and how the right light shapes mood, comfort, even sleep. It wasn't a small idea. It was a door opening.
"So I didn't just read about it. I studied lighting and lighting design — properly. Then I did the only reasonable thing: I experimented on my own home."
My home had about 200 spotlights. I tore the plan apart.
"One room alone had 16 spotlights. When I finished, it had 3 — plus one hidden light. And it looked better."
Across the whole house — five bedrooms, the living room, a kitchen and four bathrooms — roughly 200 glaring points of light became about 50 carefully designed, correctly placed, glare-free fixtures. Watch what that looked like:
The headaches fell by 99%.
"That was ten years ago. Since that day, I haven't taken a single painkiller for a headache. Not one."
(One toothache doesn't count. Even light has its limits.)
That result is a personal story, not a medical promise — but it is the reason Noreelight exists: light done wrong can quietly hurt you every day, and light done right can quietly give you your life back.
And counting
And one room: 16 → 4. Less light. Better light.
